Terms & conditions
The contractual terms governing enrolment in and delivery of the Advanced Nanomaterials programme.
Last updated 13 August 2026 · ATTIMAR S.A. OÜ, registry code 16584720
1. Parties and scope
These terms form a contract between you and ATTIMAR S.A. OÜ, registry code 16584720, Tallinn, Estonia. They govern your access to this website, the student portal and the Advanced Nanomaterials programme.
By submitting an application or completing an enrolment you accept these terms. If you are enrolling on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.
2. The programme
The programme comprises 28 recorded video lessons totalling approximately 11 hours 40 minutes, accompanying written materials, four assessed module quizzes, a capstone brief, fortnightly live office hours and one final examination with two included resit attempts.
We may improve, re-record or reorganise content. We will not reduce the total assessed scope of a cohort after that cohort has begun. Live office-hours dates may change with at least seven days' notice.
Access to materials does not expire. We nonetheless reserve the right to migrate the portal to a new platform on 90 days' notice, preserving your records and certificate validity.
3. Fees and payment
- Full payment: €1,490, due on enrolment
- Instalment plan: three payments of €520 (€1,560 total), due at enrolment, week five and week ten
- Team pricing from five participants: quoted individually, from €1,120 per participant
Prices are stated in euro. VAT is applied where required by EU rules; business customers with a valid VAT identification number in another member state are invoiced under the reverse-charge mechanism.
Where an instalment is more than 14 days overdue we may suspend portal access until the balance is settled. Certificates are issued only once all payments have cleared.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel and receive a full refund within 14 days of enrolment, provided you have completed less than 20% of the programme content. No reason is required. Email admissions@attimar.eu to cancel.
This right sits alongside, and does not limit, any statutory right of withdrawal you may hold as a consumer under EU distance-selling rules.
Refunds are made to the original payment method within 10 working days. After the 14-day window, fees are non-refundable, but you may defer once to a later cohort at no cost up to seven days before live sessions begin.
5. Assessment and certification
Module quizzes require 65% to pass and allow unlimited attempts. The final examination requires 70% and is supervised online. Two resit attempts are included at no additional cost.
If all three examination attempts are unsuccessful, we issue a statement of participation instead of a certificate, and you retain full access to the materials.
The certificate is a Certificate of Advanced Professional Training issued by ATTIMAR S.A. OÜ bearing the scientific patronage mark of IUL — Università Telematica degli Studi. It is not a degree, does not confer academic title and does not carry ECTS or CFU credit.
We may revoke a certificate where it was obtained through academic misconduct. Revocation is recorded in the verification system and communicated to you in writing with a right of appeal.
6. Academic integrity
You must complete assessments personally and without unauthorised assistance. Submitting work generated by another person or by an AI system as your own, sharing examination content, or impersonating another candidate are all breaches of these terms.
Suspected breaches are reviewed by two members of the academic board. Sanctions range from reassessment to exclusion without refund, according to severity.
7. Intellectual property
All course materials — videos, slides, datasets, templates and assessments — remain the intellectual property of ATTIMAR or its licensors. Your enrolment grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to use them for your own learning.
You may not record, redistribute, resell, publish or use the materials to train machine-learning systems. Reasonable quotation for academic or review purposes, with attribution, is permitted.
8. Liability
We provide the programme with reasonable skill and care. We do not warrant that it will lead to any particular employment, promotion, research outcome or academic admission.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability arising from the programme is limited to the fees you paid.
We are not liable for interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, though we will restore service as promptly as practicable and extend deadlines correspondingly.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Estonian law. Disputes fall to the courts of Estonia. If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, you retain the protection of mandatory provisions of your local law and may bring proceedings in your own courts.
Consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform. We will engage in good faith with any complaint before it reaches that stage.
